Crushed Concrete

Seems that there is a shortage of crushed concrete down here in the South. None of our tippers can seem to find any crushed at all.

But I  have been asking myself why this is? Is it because there is no much demo around? Or has the bad weather just sapped it all up.

If anyone knows of any in the Surrey area please let me know. I am looking for around 20 loads for Weybridge for a site in the hills.

Something a bit like this will do.

Crushed Concrete

Crushed Concrete

A good question I had the other day was. What is the main product that can be recycled from skip waste? Now I took this as being product not material. The answer to this question is crushed concrete.

Crushed concrete can be used for sub-bases, temporary roads, or a bulk material to stabilise the ground.

Crushed Concrete is resalable, and because of that it is a must for all skip companies when it comes to recycling. This material is usually sold in 20 ton loads to groundworks contractors and civil engineers, and is sometimes sold in smaller quantities to smaller builders or private customers.

The term 6f2 may also be used for the material crushed concrete. 6f2 is just a grading that gives us a bit of information as to what is in the material.
